Interactive Discourse
is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal (ISSN
1756-3445) published by interactivediscourse.com
The journal focuses on the discourse relating
to the pedagogy and multi disciplinary practice of higher education
teaching, learning, assessment, enhancement of the student
experience and promotion of the scholarship of teaching and
learning.
The journal will publish
topics in a wide range of areas including pedagogy, teaching,
learning, assessment, feedback, reflective practice, personal
development planning, technology in teaching and learning,
innovative and professional practice, etc. Articles for publication
will be grouped into one of the following categories:
Pedagogy
Innovative
Practice
Reflective
Practice
Multi
disciplinary learning
Technology-enhanced
learning
(including eLearning, m(mobile) Learning, eg - experiential
eLearning, Blended Learning)
Critical reflections
on the changing nature of teaching, learning and professional
practice in higher and tertiary level education
Development
(research and development, work-in-progress)
We
welcome technical papers on best practice, case studies, review of
literature and work-in-progress. Individuals can submit full papers
of no more than 5000 words or a brief article or work-in-progress of
between 2000 - 3000 words.
In
addition, the journal will publish sections on Comments (Letters) to
the Editor-in-chief, Conference or Book reviews and Conference
Alert.
The
articles in the journal will be presented using interactive technologies.
The journal will be
published twice in a year in May/June and November/December.
