Style of Presentation
Word length
A full paper should be no more than 5000 words (maximum).
A work-in-progress
should be between 2 - 3000 words
General Guidelines
Each article should have -
i. a title (no more than 13 words)
ii. complete contact details for the authors
iii. a brief abstract of 250 words (maximum)
iv. three to five key words. Key words to be separated by a comma.
v. headings -The article should be divided into unnumbered section
and subheadings. Only two levels of headings are allowed. Main
heading should be in font size 15, subheadings in font size 12
vi. The main text should be produced in font size 10 and in double
line spacing.
vii. The reference citation should follow the Harvard system. Please
see examples provided below under the heading references.
Tables
Tables should
be included in the text at the appropriate place and centred
according. Caption should be between 8 - 10 words, eg. Table 1:

Figures
Figures should be included
in the text at the appropriate place and centred according. Caption
should be between 8 - 10 words, eg. Figure 1: A Model for
Interactivity Online
All figures should
be presented as separate items and produced in GIF or JPEG formats.
References
An accurate and up to date
list of references will be provided for each chapter. The format of
referencing will be as follows:
LOCKWOOD, F.,1992. Activities in Self-instructional texts. London: Nichols Publishing Company. ISBN: 0893973793.
Biographic details
Each author is to provide a 200 word
biography with the following information: current role including
name of institution (where applicable), area of interest and current
email address.
Submission of Manuscript
Manuscripts should be sent

figures and images to be sent as separate files.
Review and revision of the
manuscript
Each manuscript will be
blindly reviewed by two referees. The decision of the
Editor-in-chief is final and not subject to contestation. The
outcomes of the review process will be as follows:

Accept without revision
- Accept with revisions
- Reject
Copyright
All subscribers and authors must sign a letter of agreement granting
copyright of the article to The Robert Gordon University. The signed
letter may be returned as an email attachment or by fax. Without the
signed agreement individuals will not gain access to the journal and
manuscripts will not be entered for the review process. However,
authors have the right to use aspects of their work or part thereof
for other publications.
